Identity

For the game's first month Gon was a bare M1 dummy — a silhouette testers needed a friend to identify. The v0.2.0 update (September 12, 2026) changed that: the official update log lists "New base move: Janken Scissors, which has 3 variants" under Gon, making him the first unfinished slot to gain a real, officially named skill. That is progress, not completion — a complete Strikeborn kit needs a full M1 string that converts, multiple real skill slots, access to the shared air layer and an awakening, and Gon has none of the rest confirmed yet. When the full kit ships, Hunter x Hunter adaptations on Roblox usually live or die on the transformation — simple buttons that become scary with an awakening — but nothing beyond Janken Scissors has been announced. Treat this slot as the roadmap in motion: one real button today, and watch the update log for the rest.

Observed tools

No invented numbers: SSSStudio has not published cooldowns or damage for any skill. Names are showcase or community shorthand unless noted.

Janken Scissors (base move)

Officially added in the v0.2.0 update log with 3 variants. The September 13 balance patch adds that Gon skills are now holdable on controller and mobile. Damage and cooldown numbers have not been published by SSSStudio.

Evidence & notes

  • First officially named skill (Janken Scissors, 3 variants) arrived in the v0.2.0 update log (Sep 12, 2026).
  • Still an incomplete slot — no confirmed full kit, air layer access or awakening; do not rank it yet.
  • Transformation expectations (adult form, other Janken moves) are speculation from other games, not Strikeborn facts.
