Strikeborn

Strikeborn is a Roblox anime battlegrounds fighter from SSSStudio, free to play since September 12, 2026. Pick a complete kit — Vessel Sorcerer (Yuji) or Black Swordsman (Guts) — and fight in a vertical cliff-and-waterfall arena with wall jumps, jump pads and a deep air-combo layer most battlegrounds games never build. The v0.2.0 update added private servers, leaderboards, daily quests and the first Gon skill. 100-player servers, three-device support, randomized emotes and spins.

Why Strikeborn feels different

The air-combo layer most battlegrounds games never build
Uppercut converts, directional skill variants, wall jumps and jump pads on a vertical cliff map.

Four-hit M1 strings where hit three launches and hit four slams — the opposite of every TSB clone. Learn the shared layer once, then main Yuji (fast) or Guts (range).

Tier List

Early access · two S-tier kits
Yuji and Guts share S-tier — they are the only complete characters.

Yuji is the smoother teacher on mobile; Guts rewards PC shift-lock spacing. The Jinchuriki and Gon slots stay unranked — unfinished files are not D-tier characters.

Balance patch + restart (code 15KLIKES)

Servers restart after a bug-fix and balance update, announced with a second official code, 15KLIKES (reward not stated in the announcement). Snaliel's patch notes: combo damage falloff adjusted so really long combos do way less damage; Gon skills are now holdable on controller and mobile; plus fixes for a softlock bug, Pulverize bugging on dummies, the Repeater (bomb) hitbox sometimes missing, and a death bug. Balance changes: Ironclad Thrust damage decreased on both variants, Ironclad Thrust (slam) ragdoll duration decreased, Super Downslam ragdoll adjusted, Repeater (knife throw) cooldown increased, and the Ground Splitter second hit is now blockable on the ground variant.

Free open release + Update Log v0.2.0 (code SBUPDATE1)

After a maintenance close ("game will close for maintenance soon for the new update"), Snaliel announces "Game is open!" — Strikeborn drops its paid early-access buy-in and anyone can join for free, with the first official code SBUPDATE1 posted in the same message. The v0.2.0 update log ships alongside. Additions: a new Guts awakening move (Devastation) plus a backdash variant for Ironclad Thrust; a new Gon base move (Janken Scissors) with 3 variants; player-created private servers with public/private listings, short join codes, host names and free private-server commands (no cooldowns, dummy spawning, teleporting players, giving awakening) plus a paid PS+ tier with extra commands — Snaliel later clarifies private servers are created from the menu's UI panel; Top Kills (all-time) and Monthly Kills leaderboards; 8 new emotes (Blue Ring, Menacing Run, Lost in Paradise, Pure Rage, Slick, Orderly Bow, Democratic Salute, Miku Static); 8 new accessories (Flame Scarf, Shoulder Armor, Steampunk Gauntlet, and five Glitcher variants — Aqua, Cosmic, Mayhem, Graceful, Flame); daily and weekly quests claimable at quest boards; and Sell Extras in the inventory, turning duplicate emotes and accessories into coins. Changes: the Shop gains code redeeming and a giftable Gamepasses page, block is now only bound to F, Lock-On gets its own mobile/controller settings, the emote wheel is redesigned with a style setting, rain is shortened (5 min, Heavy Rain 3 min) and daytime lengthened to 45 minutes, mobile gains Lock-On, and extra emote pages can be purchased three times for up to 32 slots. Balancing: long combo damage penalty reduced from 75% to 50%, awakening gain up 25%, awakened players now deal 70% damage to other awakened players, perfect dodge and perfect block nerfed, Super Downslam made evadable, plus Guts, Gon and Yuji move adjustments. Bug fixes cover combat (Ironclad Thrust knockback inputs, Repeater duplicate hits, Fire Arrow double explosions, Onslaught wall clipping), rewards (Guts level 25 rewards, blocked coin purchases, some early-access purchases failing to grant), and world stability. A v0.2.1 hotfix later the same day fixes mobile private servers.

Fire ability sneak — a new fighter kit takes shape

Developer Snaliel posts three Studio clips in the official Discord #sneaks channel: a white-haired fighter wearing black-and-red mechanical shoulder armor unleashes fire-based attacks against training dummies — flame dashes, fiery ring bursts, a wide arcing flame sweep and burning ground effects. No name, kit details or release date were given. If this is the next complete fighter, it is the one standing between the game and its stated free-to-play condition of three finished characters.
